What Legacy

What Legacy is a series of concrete sculptures carved with quotations from contemporary and historical poetry that are staged in urban-organic environments— flower beds, planters, strangers’ front yards, landscaped road medians, etc. These works explore the notion of organic vs industrial, the ebb and flow of the natural and human worlds, and the shared history and future of all species on Earth. They aim to encourage viewers to examine their own relationship to nature and inspire empathy and positive environmental change by asking What Legacy their actions are shaping on this Earth.
