Natura Obscura

In the summer of 2018, Clouse was selected as an intern artist in MOA’s Design and Build program and collaborated with a team of 9 other intern artists under the direction of an established art team to design and build the immersive installation Natura Obscura, which ran at MOA’s indoor gallery space for the entirety of 2019. The installation aimed to create a surreal, technological forest to connect viewers to their “hidden nature” through interactive elements. Clouse was instrumental in building framework, developing surface treatments, directing conceptual elements, designing soft sculptures, and more. It was through this experience she discovered her love of collaboration and installation.
