Season of the Witch: Titanium Kyanite Broom Necklace

This broom necklace is made from a piece of black kyanite that has been given a multicolored titanium “aura” treatment and an ethically sourced mink bone, all electroformed in copper with a black moonstone and a rainbow moonstone for contrast. The metal has been given an antiqued patina and it hangs on an adjustable 26-30 inch chain. Use this broom for “sweeping” away intrusive or unwanted energy, or in ritual to direct smoke from incense or to support spellwork.

Metal: copper— an energy conductor and balancing force

Stones: kyanite— balancing and clearing; black moonstone— protection, intuition; moonstone— intuition, femininity

Other symbolism: brooms have a long, complex history in relation to witches. From using broom handles to apply hallucinogenic “flying” ointments to pagan traditions of dancing with tools to welcome prosperity, to the use of altar brooms for clearing energy from a space or person, brooms cary a lot of significance in witchcraft and the occult.
